about the course

Create a small 3D world that visitors can explore and interact with. In three practical sessions, you’ll learn to build spaces, shape their atmosphere with colour, light and sound, and introduce simple interactions — all from scratch.

what you'll get

your own interactive 3D world, playable inside Unity

a unique space with its own atmosphere, shaped through colour, light and sound

at least one simple interaction for visitors to discover

the foundational skills to continue creating and experimenting with Unity independently

program

Tuesday, 10 November · 20:00–21:30 (Paris time)

build your world

Get comfortable with the Unity interface and learn to navigate a 3D scene. Add objects, move them, rotate them and change their scale. Using simple geometric shapes, start building a landscape, a room, an imaginary island or an abstract space.

rhythm in Ableton

Result: the foundations of your own 3D world, ready to develop further.

Thursday, 12 November · 20:00–21:30 (Paris time)

create an atmosphere

melody and mood

Give your world its own character with materials, colour, light and sound. Try ready-made components that make objects move or rotate, and see how a few creative choices can completely change the feeling of a space.

Result: a personal 3D environment with a distinct visual and sonic atmosphere.

Tuesday, 17 November· 20:00–21:30 (Paris time)

structure and finish

make it interactive

Set up a way for visitors to move through your scene. Add a simple interaction — for example, an object that changes colour and plays a sound when someone approaches. Finish your scene, test it and explore each other’s worlds.

Result: a small interactive 3D scene that can be explored and played inside Unity.

f.a.q.

  • No. The intensive is built for people starting from scratch, or close to it. No musical education needed.

  • The recording is available for 3 months after the course. But the format is live, so it's better to be there in person — that's the main difference between the intensive and YouTube.

  • Yes — that's the whole point. The programme is built so that by the end of session 3 you have an exported file. Not a release, not professional production, but a real first track.

  • YouTube gives you fragments, not a route. The intensive gives you a sequence of steps from an empty project to a finished track — and a person you can ask in the moment.

  • Yes. It's one of the scenarios it was built for. Participants get a 25% discount on the main course (music production → your first track).
